Current situation

The River Forecast Centre has DOWNGRADED a Flood Warning to a High Streamflow Advisory for the North Coast including the Nass River & tributaries around Stewart, Terrace, Prince Rupert, Kitimat, Kemano & other coastal communities in B.C. The public is advised to stay clear of these fast-flowing rivers.

A High Streamflow Advisory (yellow) has been issued by the River Forecast Centre. Check the River Forecast Centre’s website for latest Flood Advisories in B.C.

River levels have exceeded the river bank or will exceed the river bank soon. Flooding may occur in areas near affected rivers.
