The River Forecast Centre has DOWNGRADED a Flood Warning to a High Streamflow Advisory for the North Coast including the Nass River & tributaries around Stewart, Terrace, Prince Rupert, Kitimat, Kemano & other coastal communities in B.C. The public is advised to stay clear of these fast-flowing rivers.
North Coast including the Nass River and tributaries around Stewart, Terrace (including Kitsumkalum), Ging̱olx, Lax̱g̱altsʼap, Gitlax̱t’aamiks (New Aiyansh), Prince Rupert, Kitimat, Kemano and other coastal communities

During a High Streamflow Advisory:
Stay clear of fast-flowing rivers. Riverbanks may be unstable and dangerous.

River levels have exceeded the river bank or will exceed the river bank soon. Flooding may occur in areas near affected rivers.
