Flood Warning DOWNGRADED to Flood Watch for West Vancouver Island & Coquitlam River

Current situation
The River Forecast Centre has DOWNGRADED the Flood Warning to a Flood Watch for west Vancouver Island, including rivers around Tofino, Bamfield and Port Renfrew and surrounding areas, and the Coquitlam River. The public is advised to stay clear of these fast-flowing rivers and potentially unstable riverbanks.
A Flood Warning (red) has been issued by the River Forecast Centre. Check the River Forecast Centre’s website for latest Flood Advisories in B.C.
