BC EMERGENCY ALERT: The Regional Districts of Okanagan-Similkameen and Central Okanagan, the District of Summerland, and Penticton Indian Band have issued Evacuation Orders due to the Bald Range wildfire. Anyone in the affected area must leave NOW.
BC EMERGENCY ALERT issued by the Regional Districts of Okanagan-Similkameen and Central Okanagan, the District of Summerland, and Penticton Indian Band due to wildfire.
Evacuate immediately if you are in the following area: Summerland; Faulder; the Big Valley Rd area, the Brent Rd and Log Chute Rd area south of Peachland; from Darke Lake south to Bathville Rd, including Garnet Valley Rd and Princeton-Summerland Hwy to km 15.
The Bald Range Wildfire is creating a significant risk to life.
Evacuate to 273 Power St, Penticton, or Westbank Lions Community Hall, West Kelowna. Hwy 97 is closed from Antlers Beach to Pyramid Picnic Area. Except 201 FSR, do not use forest service roads even if maps direct you there.
If you are unable to evacuate call 9-1-1.

If you are in the area under Evacuation Order, you are at risk. You must leave immediately.
Evacuate to the Emergency Support Services (ESS) Reception Centre located at either:
- 550 Eckhardt Avenue West, Penticton
- 2466 Main Street, Westbank Lions Community Centre, West Kelowna
