BC EMERGENCY ALERT issued by Columbia Shuswap Regional District and Little Shuswap Lake Band
Evacuate immediately if you are in the following area: Scotch Creek, Lee Creek, Celista, Magna Bay and Little River area between Squilax Bridge and Sorrento.
The wildfire poses a threat to life.
The Scotch Creek Bridge and the Talana Bay Bridge are closed due to fire. Anyone remaining in Scotch Creek must evacuate by boat located at the Provincial park Wharf at 4248 Ashe Road. Those people in Celista east of Talana Bay Bridge can evacuate to Seymour Arm. Those West of the Scotch Creek Bridge can evacuate via Squilax Anglemont Road to highway 1 to Kamloops.

If you are in the impacted area:
- Stop what you are doing and follow the directions provided.
- Follow all instructions from local officials.
- Travel Routes:
- Anyone remaining in Scotch Creek is advised to evacuate by boat located at the Provincial park Wharf at 4248 Ashe Road.
- If you are in Celista east of Talana Bay Bridge: Evacuate to Seymour Arm.
- If you are West of the Scotch Creek Bridge: Evacuate via Squilax Anglemont Road to highway 1 to Kamloops.
- Do not call 911 for additional information unless you are trapped and unable to evacuate.
